Originally from Texas, Dewey Moss has called New York home for 30 years—long enough to be a real new Yorker! He takes advantage of having everything at his fingertips, from world-class restaurants and amazing museums to the liveliness of Broadway. His favorite feature of New York, though, is its sense of community: during tough times, New Yorkers come together like he’s never experienced elsewhere.
Dewey’s diverse professional background sets him apart from other agents in the city. An actor and singer, he was on Broadway numerous times before moving into writing and producing. He also developed a career as a Creative Director in advertising, and was most recently a Vice President in Video Commercial Solutions. It was one of his first jobs, though, that fueled his passion for real estate. Working as an executive assistant and pitch designer at CB Richard Ellis, he was directly involved in some of the largest commercial property sales in Manhattan—from the Lipstick building and 1 Madison Square to the Toy Center and the Metlife building. Now, Dewey’s extensive client experience combined with his sophisticated advertising capabilities serve him well as an agent. He is skilled at creating personalized solutions to every situation, and his additional background in LLC management and independent contracting makes him well-practiced in guiding his clients through the ins-and-outs of the business. Creative, adaptable, and highly driven, he connects easily with people from all walks of life and is determined to help others achieve their real estate goals.
In his spare time, Dewey enjoys exercising his artistic muscle by writing musicals and plays, teaching voice, and doing just about anything craft-oriented as well as renovating his 19th century farmhouse upstate.
