Gloria Thompson is a mix of Southern hospitality and Northern grit. Born in Columbia, South Carolina and raised in the suburbs of Iselin, New Jersey, she has what it takes to be a successful real estate agent in New York. After completing high school, she moved to South Carolina for a few years. There weren’t many options for an ambitious woman with aspirations such as hers. She moved to New York in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since. So many oppositions have arose, but her determination and perseverance has made her into the genuine person she is today. She has always wanted to help others, whether it be to give train directions (took her 2 years to get it right) or donating to charity. Her love for helping others go perfectly with being able to help people find the right home. Gloria is a full-time student majoring in Communication Studies where she is on the Dean’s list, and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She is also a loving nanny and has added real estate to her list of expertise. To be able to have all these activities going on simultaneously, is a testament to her work ethic and passion. Gloria’s favorite line is, “No matter what, just keep pushing!” She has lived in Queens, Manhattan, and currently resides in Brooklyn.
