Fluent in Chinese and English, Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from China’s premier center for the study of accounting, Xiamen University. In Beijing she worked as an accounting manager, reporting to C-Level executives at Sinotrans Corp, China’s largest shipping company. After moving to New York in 2000, Karen earned a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and worked as a Data Analyst for a financial firm in midtown Manhattan. “My knowledge in those fields allows me to transfer business acumen, financial sense and market savvy to the world of real estate, always aware of the pulse of the market's latest trends and conditions”.
Currently making her home on the Upper West Side of Manhattan since 2004, Karen previously lived in Queens and Brooklyn and has strong knowledge of those neighborhoods. She enjoys exploring all of NYC and deepening her knowledge and understanding of diverse cultures in the city. Her interests also include cooking for family and friends, playing volleyball, traveling with family to Europe, Asia and South America to see the world.
